Adani Green Energy shares fell 8.5% amid ongoing scrutiny over its acquisition of Azure Power’s 2,333 MW capacity in a larger 7,000 MW solar project in Andhra Pradesh. The stock closed the week at ₹1,209.5, marking a 1.63% dip on Friday.
Waaree Energies: Over 9% Gain
Waaree Energies Ltd saw its stock rise by 9% this week, closing at ₹2,891. The company is expanding its solar manufacturing capacity with an 11.4 GW facility, with 5.4 GW set to be operational in the current fiscal year. Waaree Energies also achieved NABL accreditation for its advanced PV module testing lab in Gujarat.
Premier Energies: A 3.9% Increase
Premier Energies Ltd, India’s second-largest integrated solar module manufacturer, reported a 3.9% gain, trading at ₹1,270 by Friday. The boost followed the announcement of new orders worth ₹1,087 crore from leading independent power producers.
Suzlon Energy: Up 7.2%
Suzlon Energy Ltd climbed 7.2% this week, with shares trading at ₹67.5. The company expanded its partnership with Jindal Renewables, securing a 302.4 MW wind power project in Karnataka. This order contributes to a cumulative 702.4 MW capacity, marking Suzlon’s largest single-customer deal.
Torrent Power: Nearly 9% Gain
Shares of Torrent Power Ltd jumped 8.8% this week, closing at ₹1,648.05. The company launched a qualified institutional placement (QIP) and announced plans to increase its renewable energy capacity by 3 GW, raising its green energy share to 59%.
KPI Green Energy: A 4.2% Jump
KPI Green Energy Ltd shares rose 4.2% this week to ₹819. The company secured its largest order to date, valued at ₹1,311 crore, from Coal India Ltd. The project is part of its goal to achieve 10 GW capacity by 2030.
